🎮 Play Golly Ghost Online (Arcade)

Golly! Ghost! is a highly unique electro-mechanical arcade shooter developed by Namco and released in 1990. Instead of a standard monitor, the game projects video sprites of comical ghosts over a physical, mechanical diorama of a haunted Victorian mansion. The physical doors, chests, and furniture actually react and open as you play. Up to two players take on the roles of ghost hunters, codenamed “Zip” and “Zap,” to clear the mansion of its spectral invaders.

How to Play

The objective is to score as many points as possible by shooting the ghosts before they escape or the timer runs out. In the browser emulator, the arcade light gun controls are mapped to your mouse or touch screen. Aim your cursor at the targets and click or tap to fire.

Tips

• Watch the background: Pay attention to the physical elements of the diorama like opening doors or chests, as they often signal where the next ghosts will spawn.
• Shoot bonus items: Keep an eye out for random bonus objects like hamburgers that occasionally appear on the set; shooting these awards extra points.
