Gauntlet II is a classic fantasy action-shooter released by Atari Games in 1986. Originally an arcade hit, this NES port brings the intense top-down dungeon crawling experience home. How to play
The objective is to survive as long as possible while descending deeper into the dungeon. Tips
- Target the generators: Monster spawners will produce an endless stream of foes if left unchecked. Focus your fire on these spawners first before dealing with the crowd.
- Watch your fire: Stray projectiles can destroy the food you desperately need to survive. Aim carefully when firing near restorative items.
- Use chokepoints: Funnel enemies through narrow corridors to pick them off safely without being surrounded by the horde.
