Developed by Sunsoft and ported to the PlayStation in 1996, Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors is a 2D sci-fi fighting game that pits humans, aliens, and cyborgs against each other across the solar system. Originally an arcade title, it is best known for its unique endless scrolling stages, where arenas lack physical walls and allow players to dash and retreat continuously without getting backed into a corner.
How to play
Choose from a roster of eight extraterrestrial fighters and battle through a tournament to face the divine being Felden. The browser emulator maps standard PlayStation inputs: use the arrow keys for the D-pad to move and jump, while attacks are mapped to Z, X, A, and S. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select to navigate menus.
Tips
- Use the endless stages to your advantage; if an opponent plays aggressively, dash backwards repeatedly to create space and force them to whiff their attacks.
- Each character has a unique dash attack that can close distance quickly, making it an excellent tool for punishing missed moves.
