🎮 Play Frogger Online (DOS)

Originally released in arcades in 1981 and later ported to DOS, Konami’s Frogger is a foundational action game where you guide a series of frogs safely to their riverbank homes. It demands sharp timing and patience to navigate through streams of hazards moving at varying speeds.

How to play

You start at the bottom of the screen and must reach one of the five empty lily pads at the top before the timer runs out. The journey is split into two halves: first, dodge traffic across a busy five-lane highway; then, cross a treacherous river by hopping on floating logs and the backs of turtles. Use the arrow keys to hop your frog in any direction. For fullscreen play in the browser, press Right Alt + Enter.

Tips

• Watch the turtles: Some groups of turtles will periodically dive underwater. If you are standing on them when they submerge, you lose a life. Look out for turtles that change color before they sink.
• Ride the edges: You can safely ride logs and turtles until they reach the edge of the screen, but if you let the current carry you entirely off-screen, you will die.
• Look for bonuses: Catching a fly on an empty lily pad or escorting a lady frog across the river grants bonus points.
