Game description:

Frenzy is an action shooter originally released in arcades by Stern Electronics in 1982, and later ported to the Atari 7800. As the direct sequel to Berzerk, it expands the classic maze-shooting formula with destructible environment elements, reflective walls, and new robot behaviors.

How to play

Navigate the maze to destroy all the robots and exit the room before the invincible Evil Otto arrives. Unlike its predecessor, you can now shoot through certain walls to create shortcuts, but watch out for reflective surfaces that can bounce your own lasers back at you. Use the arrow keys to move, press X or Z to fire, and Enter to pause the game.

Tips

  • While Evil Otto can finally be destroyed in this sequel, doing so will cause him to respawn fasterโ€”only shoot him if you absolutely need to.
  • Use reflective walls to your advantage by bouncing shots around corners to hit robots safely.
