Famista ’93 is a classic arcade-style baseball game released for the Famicom (NES) by Namco in 1992. As part of Namco’s long-running Family Stadium series, the game features fast-paced baseball action, updated rosters for the 1992 Japanese professional season, real-time pitching and batting mechanics, and responsive field control across multiple ballparks.
How to Play
Select your team and manage pitching, batting, and field defense across a full nine-inning match or exhibition game. On browser-emulated NES controls, use the Arrow Keys to steer pitches, position batters, or navigate base paths. Press Z (Button A) to swing or pitch, X (Button B) to throw to bases or steal, and Enter (Start) to begin or pause.
Tips
- Time your swing based on pitch speed and height; pressing Z early pulls the ball toward your batter’s dominant side, while late swings push it to the opposite field.
- Vary pitch types by combining the D-Pad (Arrow Keys) with Z when throwing to throw fastballs, curves, or changeups to keep batter timing off-balance.
