🎮 Play Eight Ball Action Pac Man Conversion Online (Arcade)

Eight Ball Action is a 1985 arcade pool game developed by Seatongrove, Ltd. for Magic Electronics, Inc. It was sold as a conversion kit — a cheap way for operators to turn old Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Pac-Man cabinets into a simulated billiards game. This version runs on the Pac-Man conversion hardware.

How to Play

Move the aim dot around the table with the arrow keys, then press Z to strike the cue ball toward it. An on-screen indicator cycles between three shot speeds — soft, medium, and hard — so time your shot for the speed you want. Insert coins with Shift and press Enter to start; up to two players can play, taking alternating turns.

Tips

• You get three attempts to sink a ball before your turn ends. Pot one, and the count resets to three — so keep the streak going rather than forcing risky shots.
• Each ball’s score is its number multiplied by the pocket’s multiplier and the round number, so aim for the higher-multiplier pockets once you’re a few rounds in.
• A scratch loses your turn outright, so favor a safe, controlled shot over a low-percentage attempt at a hard pocket.
