Dynablaster (Europe) brings the classic, explosive maze-action gameplay of Bomberman II to the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Hudson Soft, this title features familiar grid-based stages where your goal is to clear out enemies and find the exit hidden beneath soft blocks. The simple yet highly addictive strategic action of trapping foes with your bombs makes it a timeless classic of the 8-bit era.
How to Play
The objective in each stage is to destroy all enemies and locate the exit door hidden within the destructible blocks before the time runs out. The NES controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow Keys to move your character, press Z or X to plant bombs, and use Enter or Shift for Start and Select. Be careful not to trap yourself in the blast radius of your own bombs!
Tips
- Patience pays off: Don’t rush into enemy paths. Let the enemies walk into your bomb’s explosion rather than trying to chase them down.
- Prioritise power-ups: Always look for bomb count and blast radius upgrades early in a level, as they make dealing with faster enemies much easier.
- Watch the timer: If the timer runs out, tougher enemies will spawn to hunt you down, so keep a steady pace when clearing blocks.
