Dark Chambers is a top-down dungeon action game for the Atari 2600, published by Atari Corporation in 1988. Players move through a series of connected rooms fighting waves of monsters while collecting food to stay alive — enemy pressure builds steadily, making it one of the more demanding titles from the 2600’s late catalogue.
How to Play
Work through each chamber eliminating enemies and grabbing food to restore health. Staying in one place is risky; rooms fill up quickly, and moving efficiently counts for more than firepower alone. A second player can join using the T/G/F/H keys.
| Player 1 | Player 2 | |

| Turbo fire | Del | . (period) |
| SELECT | F11 | |
| RESET / Start | F12 | |

Press F11 before starting to cycle through game variations; F12 begins the game.
Tips
- Funnel enemies through doorways — they follow you into corridors and become much easier to shoot than when they spread across an open room.
- Collect food whenever you see it, even near full health; it will not wait for you.
- Hold Del (turbo fire) when surrounded to clear space quickly without tapping individual shots.
