🎮 Play CHAMP Galaxia Online (DOS)

CHAMP Galaxia is an arcade-accurate 1996 DOS remake of the classic fixed shooter Galaxian, developed by ChamProgramming. Like the original coin-op, you control a starfighter at the bottom of the screen, fending off formations of alien ships that swoop down in erratic, diving attack patterns.

How to play

You control your ship’s horizontal movement and can only fire one shot on screen at a time, making accuracy crucial. For DOS games played in the browser, standard keyboard arrow keys govern movement, with the Spacebar, Ctrl, or Alt keys typically used for firing.

Tips

• Target diving enemies: Aliens score higher points when they are in motion during a dive compared to when they are resting in the formation.
• Watch the escorts: The flagship aliens often dive with red escort ships. Destroying the escorts before taking out the flagship yields significant bonus points.
• Pace your shots: Because you can only have one projectile on screen at once, missing a shot leaves you defenseless until the laser clears the top of the screen. Wait for a clear line of sight before firing.
