Developed by Taito and released in 1989, Cameltry is a fast-paced arcade puzzle and maze game with a unique twist on navigation. Instead of steering a character through a labyrinth, you control the rotation of the entire maze around a free-falling ball.
The objective is to guide the ball to the goal before the timer runs out. Since gravity constantly pulls the ball downward, you must rotate the stage to maneuver through corridors, navigate sharp turns, and build up enough momentum to smash through destructible walls. To play in the browser, insert a coin with Shift and begin with Enter. Use the Left and Right arrow keys to rotate the maze, and press Z or X to make the ball jump.
Focus on maintaining your momentum, as hitting breakable walls without enough speed will simply bounce you backward and waste time. Keep an eye out for time-bonus blocks to extend your run, and carefully avoid penalty blocks that subtract seconds from the clock. Additionally, you can use the jump button to quickly dislodge the ball if you get wedged in a tight corner.
