California Raisins: The Grape Escape is an unreleased action platformer developed by Radiance Software and planned for publication by Capcom for the NES in 1990. Despite being cancelled when the cultural phenomenon of the California Raisins began to fade, the game was essentially finished and eventually preserved. You take control of a Raisin on a mission to rescue the rest of the band from a rival group known as the Wild Bunch. The game features the solid, responsive side-scrolling mechanics expected from Capcom titles of the era, allowing you to choose your path through the first four stages in any order.
How to Play
Navigate the levels to defeat the Wild Bunch and save your bandmates. Use the D-pad to move, press A to jump, and press B to attack by either shooting musical notes or performing a moonwalk.
