Bubble Bobble Madness is a custom ROM hack of the classic NES arcade platformer Bubble Bobble, created by Dragon Eye Studios. You control the bubble-blowing dragons Bub and Bob, trapping enemies in bubbles and popping them to clear each single-screen stage. This modified version features entirely new level designs that offer a fresh and more challenging puzzle-platforming experience for returning players.
How to Play
Clear all enemies from the screen to advance to the next level. Trap them by blowing bubbles, then jump on or run into the bubbles to pop them before the enemies escape.
- Move: D-pad (Arrow keys)
- Blow Bubble: B button (Z)
- Jump: A button (X)
- Start: Enter
Tips
- Chain Pops: Popping multiple enemy-filled bubbles at the same time awards significantly more points and food items.
- Bubble Riding: Hold the jump button to bounce on top of bubbles without popping them. This technique is essential for reaching higher platforms in custom stages.
