BlackThorne (also known as Blackhawk) is a 1994 cinematic platformer developed for the SNES by Blizzard Entertainment. You play as Kyle Vlaros, a shotgun-wielding mercenary traversing the dark, atmospheric alien world of Tuul. How to Play
Navigation and combat are highly deliberate. You can run, jump, and grab ledges to traverse the treacherous terrain. In combat, you can press against the background to hide in the shadows, making you invulnerable to enemy fire. Wait for the enemy to reload or pause, step out of the shadows, and blast them with your pump-action shotgun. You can also fire backwards without looking to surprise enemies behind you.

Tips
- Master the shadows: Hiding in the background is your primary defense. Pay close attention to enemy firing rhythms and only step out when they pause.
