The Dark Queen and the Shadow Boss have joined forces, prompting the Toads and the Lee brothers to team up in a fast-paced beat ’em up across outer space. How to Play
Your goal is to fight your way through seven stages of hand-to-hand combat, space shooter segments, and boss battles to defeat the Dark Queen and the Shadow Boss. On the NES, you move your character with the D-pad (mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys). Use A (Z) to jump and B (X) to attack. Start (Enter) pauses the game, and Select (Shift) can be used on the selection screens.
Tips
- Use dash attacks: Double-tap left or right to dash, then press attack for a powerful running strike that knocks enemies back.
- Master the combos: Each character has unique finishing moves at the end of a combo string; learn the timing for your chosen fighter to maximize damage.
- Grab and throw: When close to a stunned enemy, you can pick them up and throw them into crowds to manage space effectively.
