SEGA released this platformer on the Sega Master System in 1986. Sega’s console output leaned on its arcade division, and the pacing tends to show it.
How it plays
Each stage asks you to learn a route and then execute it cleanly, and a mistimed jump usually costs a life rather than a sliver of health. Progress comes from reading each jump before committing to it — the levels are built around timing rather than speed. It is a single-player game throughout.
On the Sega Master System
Master System games often came from Sega’s own arcade division, which shows in their pacing. If the default core stutters on your device, the emulator list further down offers alternatives. It comes from the stretch when arcade conversions were the main event and home versions were judged against the coin-op.
