Toy Story is a 1996 side-scrolling platformer released for the Game Boy, based on the hit animated film. Players take control of Woody as he journeys through familiar locations like Andy’s room and Pizza Planet in an effort to rescue Buzz Lightyear.
How to Play
Your objective is to navigate the challenging platforming levels, overcoming obstacles and defeating enemies along the way. In the browser, the standard Game Boy controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the arrow keys to move Woody, Z and X (mapping to A and B) to jump and use your pull-string, and Enter or Shift for Start and Select.
Tips
Woody’s pull-string is your most versatile tool. Not only does it allow you to whip and temporarily stun enemies, but you can also use it to latch onto specific hooks to swing across wide gaps that are otherwise impossible to jump over.
