While the Japanese release featured the real-life female wrestling star Dump Matsumoto, this international version was completely reskinned to feature generic male wrestling teams like the Mexican Typhoons and the Crush Brothers. The game focuses purely on 2-on-2 tag-team matches, letting players brawl inside and outside the ring in pursuit of a pinfall or submission victory.
How to play
The objective is to wear down your opponents’ stamina and secure a 3-count pinfall or a submission. You must stay near your corner to tag in your partner. The default Sega Master System controls use the D-pad (Arrow keys) to move around the ring, Button 1 (Z) to strike, and Button 2 (X) to run or grapple. Pressing Enter acts as the Start button.
Tips
- Tag out frequently. Your resting partner will slowly regain their stamina on the apron while your active wrestler takes the hits.
- You can take the fight outside the ring, but keep an eye on the referee’s count. You must return to the ring before the 20-count to avoid being disqualified.
- Use turnbuckle attacks and bounce off the ropes to perform more damaging moves once you have grappled your opponent.
