How to Play
Your goal is to reach the end of each act by utilizing momentum to roll through enemies and clear large gaps. The Genesis controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow Keys to move, and press Z, X, or C (mapped to the A, B, and C buttons) to jump. Hold Down while pressing jump to rev up a Spin Dash for an instant burst of speed.
Tips
- If you hold on to at least one ring, taking damage won’t defeat youโyou’ll scatter your rings instead, giving you a brief window to recover a few before they disappear.
- To enter a special stage, cross a Star Post while carrying 50 or more rings and jump into the red star circle that appears above it.
- When playing as Sonic, Tails will automatically follow you and collect rings, but a second player can also plug in a controller to take full control of him.
