Game description:

Originally released in Japan, Yuke Yuke!! Trouble Makers (widely known in the West as Mischief Makers) is an inventive 2.5D side-scrolling platformer developed by Treasure for the N64 in 1997. You play as Marina, a robotic maid on a mission to rescue her creator. Instead of traditional attacks, the gameplay revolves around a unique physics mechanic where you must grab, shake, and throw enemies or objects to navigate levels and defeat bosses.

How to Play

Navigate through varied stages by utilizing Marina’s grabbing abilities to throw enemies into each other and uncover secrets. Typical web emulator controls for the N64 are:

  • Movement (D-pad/Analog): Arrow Keys or WASD
  • Jump / Hover (A Button): Z or K
  • Grab / Throw (B Button): X or J
  • Dash (C Buttons): C, V, I, L (depending on layout)
  • Pause (Start): Enter

Tips

  • Shake everything: Grabbing and shaking enemies or objects often reveals hidden items, gems, or alternate weapons.
  • Catch projectiles: Many enemy attacks can be caught in mid-air and thrown right back at them for massive damage.
