WWF WrestleFest is a classic arcade wrestling game released by Technōs Japan in 1991. The game features an iconic roster of 90s WWF superstars, including Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and the Legion of Doom. Players can compete in standard tag team matches or step into the ring for the chaotic Royal Rumble mode, battling to be the last wrestler standing.
How to play
Use the directional controls to move your wrestler around the ring. The game primarily uses two action buttons: one for punching and kicking, and another for grappling and running. To perform powerful signature moves, wear down your opponent’s stamina with basic attacks before engaging in a grapple and initiating a throw. By default in the browser, movement is mapped to the arrow keys, with Z and X acting as the main arcade buttons.
Tips
- When your tag team partner is on the apron, walk towards them and press the grapple button to tag them in, allowing your current wrestler to recover stamina.
- In the Royal Rumble mode, you can eliminate opponents by throwing them out of the ring when they are weakened, which is often safer than going for a pinfall.
- Rapidly tap the attack and grapple buttons to win tie-ups and overpower your opponent when both wrestlers initiate a grapple at the same time.
