Williams Arcade Classics is a 1995 compilation developed by Digital Eclipse that brings several of Williams’ most iconic coin-op titles to DOS. It features accurate emulations of early 80s arcade staples like Defender, Joust, Robotron: 2084, and Sinistar, preserving the fast-paced, high-score-chasing gameplay of the originals.

Each included game has its own objective—whether you are rescuing humanoids in Defender, jousting atop flying ostriches, or destroying robot hordes in Robotron: 2084. When playing Joust, remember that the height of your lance determines who survives a collision; always try to strike from slightly above the enemy buzzards.
