Wild Gunman is a classic light gun shooter developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the NES in 1984. Originally an electro-mechanical arcade game from 1974, this console version challenges players to test their reflexes against a series of outlaws in Old West shootouts.
How to Play
The objective is simple: wait for the outlaw’s eyes to flash and for them to yell “Fire!”, then shoot before they can shoot you. Since the original game used the NES Zapper, browser emulation maps the light gun target to your mouse cursor; point and click the left mouse button to shoot.
Tips
- Do not shoot before the outlaw yells “Fire!” or you will be penalized with a foul.
- In Game B (two outlaws), quickly identify which outlaw yells “Fire!” first, as they have different reaction times.
- Keep your cursor centered between the outlaws before the draw to minimize your aiming time.
