Whip Rush (known in Japan as Whip Rush: Wakusei Voltegas no Nazo) is a horizontal-scrolling shoot ’em up released for the Sega Genesis in 1990 by Vic Tokai and Shin-Nihon Laser Soft. Set in the year 2222, players pilot an advanced starfighter sent to investigate and neutralize an alien threat originating near Planet Voltegas.
How to Play
Navigate scrolling stages filled with enemy waves, environmental hazards, and boss battles. Collect power-up capsules to equip Fire Cannon, Laser, or Missile weaponry, and adjust your ship’s movement speed and pod firing angles to manage threats from multiple directions.
