Twisted Metal 4 is a classic vehicular combat game developed by 989 Studios and released for the PlayStation in 1999. In this installment, Sweet Tooth has overthrown Calypso to take control of the deadly tournament. Players choose from a roster of heavily modified, weaponized vehicles and battle across chaotic, multi-tiered arenas to be the last driver standing.
How to Play
Your objective is to destroy all rival vehicles in the arena by collecting and deploying weapon pickups like missiles, bombs, and unique specials. Control your vehicle using the D-pad to steer, the face buttons to accelerate and reverse, and the shoulder buttons to cycle and fire weapons. In the web emulator, the D-pad maps to the arrow keys, acceleration and braking map to X and S, and the shoulder buttons map to Q, W, E, and R.
Tips
- Use Energy Attacks: You can execute special energy moves by pressing D-pad combinations, such as freezing enemies (Left, Right, Up) or deploying a shield (Up, Up, Right). These are crucial for survival.
