Trog! is a prehistoric maze game published for the NES in 1991 by Acclaim. Playing as a colorful dinosaur, your goal is to scramble around the grid collecting all your scattered eggs while avoiding the hungry, one-eyed cavemen known as Trogs. Once every egg is gathered, you must sprint to the stage exit to escape to the next island.
How to Play
The objective is to collect every egg of your color on the board without getting caught. Use the Arrow Keys to navigate the maze. The Z and X keys map to the NES A and B buttons, which you can use to punch the cavemen. Press Enter to start.
Tips
- Keep an eye out for the pineapple power-up! Eating it temporarily transforms you into a giant T-Rex, allowing you to turn the tables and eat the Trogs.
- The red mushroom power-up boosts your speed, making it much easier to outrun the cavemen and gather eggs quickly.
- Use your punch carefullyโit can knock Trogs off the edge of the board, but timing it right against multiple enemies can be tricky.
