Originally released in arcades by Atari, Toobin’ is a downstream action game ported to the Game Boy Color in 2000. You control a character floating down hazardous rivers in an innertube, aiming to reach the end of each stage while racking up points and avoiding anything that could pop your tube.
How to play
Your objective is to navigate safely down the river, passing through gates and collecting treasure chests for points. Use the D-pad (mapped to arrow keys) to paddle and steer. Press the A or B buttons (Z or X) to toss cans at enemies and obstacles blocking your path. Press Start (Enter) to pause the game.
Tips
- Line up your approach early to float through the scoring gates, but prioritize avoiding hazards over grabbing extra points.
- Conserve your cans and use them to stun enemies or clear obstacles only when the river gets too narrow to dodge them.
