Game description:

Time Trax for the Sega Genesis is a legendary unreleased action-platformer developed by Malibu Interactive in 1993. Although it was fully completed, the game was cancelled before release and only discovered when a prototype ROM leaked to the public in 2013. Based on the sci-fi television series, you play as Captain Darien Lambert hunting fugitives through time. The game is especially famous among retro enthusiasts for its incredible, unique soundtrack composed by Tim Follin, which pushes the Genesis sound hardware to its limits.

How to Play

Your objective is to navigate various platforming levels, defeat enemies, and capture fugitives from the future. Since this is a Sega Genesis title, use the Arrow Keys to move, Z, X, and C for your main actions (punch, kick, and special abilities), and Enter to start or pause the game.

Tips

  • Use your time-slowing ability strategically to dodge fast-moving hazards and defeat difficult enemies.
  • Take the time to explore each stage, as health pickups and extra lives are often hidden slightly off the main path.
