Road Blaster (also known as Road Avenger) is a high-octane FMV racing action game originally developed by Data East for arcades, and later bundled in the Thunder Storm & Road Blaster compilation for the PlayStation in 1995. You are put in the driver’s seat of a customized sports car on a revenge-fueled rampage against a dangerous biker gang. You must survive fully animated action sequences by quickly reacting to on-screen prompts to steer, accelerate, and brake.

How to Play

Watch the animated sequence carefully and listen for audio cues. When a prompt appears on screen or the vehicle approaches a critical moment, quickly input the required direction, use the accelerator to boost through obstacles, or hit the brakes to avoid hazards. For PlayStation games in the browser, the default controls use the arrow keys for the D-pad (steering), with Z, X, A, and S mapped to the main face buttons (Cross, Circle, Square, Triangle), and Enter/Shift for Start/Select.
