Game description:

Released in 1990 by Seta, Thunder & Lightning is a colorful and fast-paced arcade block-breaking game. Taking control of the series regular Mr. Chin, players must bounce a ball off his head-mounted paddle to demolish walls of bricks and clear stages, all while dealing with a mischievous antagonist on a cloud known as the Thunderwarrior.

How to Play

The objective is to destroy every breakable brick on the screen without letting the ball fall past the bottom. Move Mr. Chin left and right to keep the ball in play, and catch power-ups that drop from broken bricks to gain an edge.

Controls: Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move your paddle, and the Spacebar or primary action button to launch the ball or fire acquired weapons.

Tips

  • Watch out for enemy creatures: flying turtles can turn into extra blocks if they get in the way, and octopuses will try to weigh down your paddle to restrict your movement.
  • Prioritize catching power-ups that split your ball into multiple projectiles or equip you with missiles, as they make clearing arrays of bricks significantly faster.
