Game description:

Telefoot Soccer 2000 is a fully featured football simulation released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Developed by Silicon Dreams Studio, this title is the French localised version of Michael Owen’s World League Soccer 2000, borrowing its name from the popular TF1 sports television programme. The game delivers a comprehensive soccer experience featuring 3D character models, dynamic weather effects, and a variety of play modes including quick matches, cup tournaments, and full championship campaigns.

How to Play

Lead your chosen football club or national team to victory by outscoring your opponents. In the browser, the Nintendo 64 controls are mapped to your keyboard. Use the Arrow Keys to maneuver your players. The X key (A button) is used for short passes and switching players on defence, while the C key (B button) allows you to shoot or perform sliding tackles. The Z and S keys typically map to the triggers for sprinting and advanced ball control. Press Enter to pause and access tactical menus.

Tips

  • Adapt to the weather: Pitch conditions visibly affect ball physics. Passes will drag and slow down in rain or snow, so adjust your strategy to rely more on aerial crosses in bad weather.
  • Adjust your formations: Take advantage of the tactical menus before a championship match. Setting up a formation that counters your opponent’s playstyle is crucial for advancing in cup tournaments.
