Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time is a legendary beat ’em up arcade game released by Konami in 1991. The Shredder has stolen the Statue of Liberty, sending Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael on a time-traveling adventure to get it back. You can brawl through different eras, fighting the Foot Clan and classic villains from the animated series.

How to Play

In this arcade classic, you must clear screens of Foot Clan soldiers and tough bosses to progress. The controls translate simply to your keyboard: use the Arrow keys to move, Z to attack, and X to jump. Add credits with Shift and start with Enter. Press jump and attack together to perform a special attack that clears nearby enemies but costs a small amount of health.

Tips

• The Screen Toss: When you hit a Foot Soldier, walk directly into them to grab them, then press attack to throw them directly at the screen. This instantly defeats the enemy and is required to defeat the Shredder boss in the Neon Night-Riders stage.
• Running Attacks: Double-tap left or right to dash, then press attack to perform a powerful shoulder charge or slide attack that knocks down multiple enemies at once.
