Game description:

T2 – The Arcade Game, released for the Sega Genesis in 1994, brings the explosive action of the hit arcade cabinet to the 16-bit home console. Based on the iconic blockbuster film, this on-rails shooter casts players as a reprogrammed T-800 tasked with protecting John and Sarah Connor while fighting back against Skynet’s endless army of Terminators.

As an on-rails shooter, the game automatically moves you through each stage while you focus entirely on aiming and firing. Move your crosshair across the screen to blast incoming cyborgs and intercept projectiles before they can damage you. Use the D-pad (mapped to the arrow keys in your browser) to aim, and press the A, B, or C buttons (mapped to the Z, X, and C keys) to fire your primary machine gun and launch secondary rockets. Press Start (the Enter key) to begin the game or pause the action.

To survive Skynet’s onslaught, prioritize shooting down incoming missiles and enemy projectiles, as preserving your health is critical in later stages. Keep an eye out for weapon upgrades and extra rocket ammo hidden in the background scenery, and try to conserve your heavy weapons for the tougher boss encounters at the end of each level.
