Syougi no Tatsujin: Master of Syougi is a classic Japanese chess arcade game developed by ADK and released in 1995 for the Neo Geo MVS. As a faithful digital recreation of Shogi, it offers a refined board game experience with both a single-player tournament mode against increasingly difficult AI opponents and a two-player competitive mode. The objective is to capture the opponent’s king using traditional Shogi rules, including the unique ability to drop captured pieces back onto the board as your own. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move your cursor around the Shogi board. Press the Z or X key (acting as the arcade action buttons) to select a piece and confirm its placement, and the Enter key to start the game. You can also use a secondary button to cancel a selection.
