Released by Capcom in 1994, Super Street Fighter II Turbo (also known as Super Street Fighter II X in Asia) is a defining arcade fighting game that introduced the Super Combo system and the hidden boss Akuma. Building on previous iterations of the legendary series, it refines the balance and brings much faster gameplay to the classic roster of world warriors.
How to Play
Select your fighter from the 16 martial artists and defeat your opponents in best-of-three matches. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move and jump. The classic six-button arcade layout is mapped to your keyboard (typically Z, X, C for punches and A, S, D for kicks). Press Shift (or 5) to insert a coin and Enter (or 1) to start.
Tips
- Monitor your Super Meter at the bottom of the screen. Once full, perform your character’s unique input to unleash a massive Super Combo that can turn the tide of a round.
- You can select the turbo speed setting before character selection. If you are struggling with the frantic pace, choose a lower speed to better time your anti-air attacks.
- To challenge the hidden boss Akuma, you must reach the final fight against M. Bison without using any continues and while maintaining a high score or fast clear time.
