Game description:

Super League is an arcade baseball game released by Sega in 1987. Running on Sega’s System 16B hardware, it delivered a streamlined, coin-operated sports experience that served as the direct predecessor to the beloved Tommy Lasorda Baseball on the Sega Genesis. With straightforward pitching, batting, and fielding mechanics, it captures the essence of late-80s arcade sports action.

How to Play

The objective is to outscore the opposing team over a standard game of baseball. As an arcade title, the controls are designed around an 8-way joystick and action buttons. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to aim your pitches, position your batter, or move your fielders. Press Z or X to swing the bat, throw a pitch, or throw the ball to a base. Use Enter to Start and Shift to insert a coin.

Tips

  • Vary Your Pitches: Don’t throw the same speed or location twice in a row; use the joystick to curve the ball during the windup.
  • Timing is Everything: Watch the shadow of the ball as it approaches the plate to time your swing accurately.
