This is a graphical hack of the classic SNES action-platformer Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. Instead of the knight Arthur, this version replaces the main character’s sprite with a girl who has been transformed by magic. The core gameplay remains the notoriously difficult side-scrolling experience you expect, complete with challenging enemy patterns and tight platforming. Because only uncompressed sprites were modified, elements like the map and item icons retain their original appearance.

How to Play

Your objective is to survive treacherous levels filled with the undead. Use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to jump, and X to attack. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select. The signature double-jump is intact, allowing you to cross large gaps or evade enemies.

Tips

• Master the double-jump carefully: once you jump, you cannot alter your mid-air trajectory, so commit to your landing spot.
• Keep an eye out for hidden treasure chests that contain armor upgrades. Taking a single hit will strip away your armor, leaving you completely vulnerable.
