Game description:

Super Boy 2 is an unlicensed platformer developed by South Korean company Zemina for the Sega Master System. Released as an unofficial clone of Super Mario Bros. for a market where Nintendo products were scarce, it attempts to recreate the classic running and jumping gameplay on Sega’s 8-bit hardware. While it features recognizable level designs and mechanics, it is known for its technical limitations, including clunky controls and choppy scrolling.

How to play: The objective is to navigate the side-scrolling stages, defeat enemies, and reach the end of each level. You can use the D-pad (mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys) to move, Button 1 / B (Z key) to jump, and Button 2 / A (X key) to run or shoot fireballs if you have the appropriate power-up. Press Start (Enter) to begin or pause the game.

Tips: Because the jumping physics and collision detection are less forgiving than the official games it imitates, take your time when navigating gaps and approaching enemies. The screen scrolling can also be disjointed, so avoid running at full speed into unknown areas.
