Game description:

Street Fighter Zero 3 (released outside Asia as Street Fighter Alpha 3) is a landmark 2D fighting game developed by Capcom for arcades in 1998. It introduced the “ISM” system, allowing players to choose between three distinct fighting stylesโ€”A-ISM for standard Super Combos, V-ISM for custom combos, and X-ISM for a single, powerful Super Art. Featuring a massive character roster and a Guard Crush meter that penalizes overly defensive play, it remains one of the most technical entries in the franchise.

How to Play

Select your character and preferred ISM style, then battle opponents in best-of-three rounds. In the browser, typical arcade controls map the joystick to the arrow keys. Use the classic six-button layout for punches and kicks (often mapped to Z, X, C and A, S, D). Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start.

Tips

  • Choose the right ISM: A-ISM is the most balanced choice for standard play. Advanced players often pick V-ISM for its devastating custom combo potential.
  • Watch the Guard meter: Blocking too many attacks depletes your Guard meter. If it breaks, your character is left temporarily defenseless.
  • Use air recovery: You can block while jumping and use mid-air recovery to escape juggle combos.
