Game description:

Street Fighter II’ Plus brings the legendary arcade fighting experience to the Sega Genesis. As a defining title of the 16-bit era, this version features all twelve classic characters, including the four Grand Masters, playable in a global martial arts tournament. Players can expect the same deep, strategic combat and signature special moves that made the series a cultural phenomenon, complete with the ability for both players to choose the same fighter.

How to Play

The objective is to defeat your opponent in best-of-three matches by depleting their health bar using standard strikes, throws, and character-specific special attacks.

Default Browser Controls (Sega Genesis):

  • Movement: Arrow Keys
  • A Button (Light Kick): Z
  • B Button (Medium Kick): X
  • C Button (Heavy Kick): C
  • Start: Enter

Note: If the emulator is running in standard 3-button mode, you must press Start to toggle your action buttons between punches and kicks.

Tips

  • Master the basics: Focus on learning the range and speed of your character’s normal attacks before relying entirely on special moves. Anti-air attacks, like Ryu and Ken’s crouching heavy punch, are essential for stopping jumping opponents.
  • Block effectively: Hold the directional pad away from your opponent to block incoming attacks. Remember to block low (down-back) to defend against sweeping kicks.
