South Park is a first-person shooter released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999, developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim. Based on the hit animated series, the game puts you in control of Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny as they defend their quiet mountain town from a comet that has brought mutant turkeys, aliens, and killer toys. You’ll battle through various levels using an arsenal of bizarre weapons, including snowballs, dodgeballs, and the iconic Cow Launcher.
How to Play
Your objective is to navigate through each stage, defeating enemies and destroying the spawners that keep them coming. You must reach the end of the level to stop the town from being overrun. By default in your browser, the N64 analog stick is mapped to the arrow keys. Use Z and X for the A and B buttons, Enter for Start, and Shift for the Z-trigger. The C-buttons (often mapped to WASD or IJKL depending on your emulator settings) handle looking up, down, left, and right.
Tips
- Use the right weapon: Snowballs are fine for basic enemies, but switch to the Toilet Paper Launcher or Dodgeballs to take down tougher foes more efficiently.
- Destroy spawners quickly: Turkeys and other enemies will keep appearing as long as their spawners (like the turkey coops) are intact. Focus your fire on the spawners first.
- Conserve special ammo: Weapons like the Cow Launcher or Terrance and Phillip dolls deal massive damage. Save them for the tankier boss encounters rather than wasting them on common grunts.
