Game description:

Sonic.EXE mega drive is a horror-themed platformer ROM hack for the Sega Genesis, created by lavagaming1 for the Sonic Hacking Contest 2022. This hack reinvents the classic creepypasta by incorporating actual gameplay and story elements into the world of Sonic. The demo features custom coding and sprite work across two short levels, “Hill Act 1” and “Hide and Seek”, where you play as Tails trying to survive encounters with the titular entity.

Navigate the sinister landscapes, uncover hidden secrets, and try to escape your pursuer. You can play this homebrew directly in your browser. Use the D-pad (arrow keys) to move, and the A, B, or C buttons (Z, X, or C on your keyboard) to jump and use your abilities.
