Released for the NES in 1992 by Odyssey Software, Solitaire brings the classic single-player card game to the console. The game features the traditional Klondike ruleset, challenging players to uncover hidden cards, alternate colors in the tableau, and build up four foundation piles from ace to king.
How to play
Use the directional pad to move your hand cursor around the tableau and foundation piles. Press the A button to pick up a card or stack of cards, and press it again to place them on a valid pile. The B button can often be used to cancel a selection.
- D-pad: Arrow Keys
- A Button: X
- B Button: Z
- Select: Shift
- Start: Enter
Tips
- Always prioritize uncovering face-down cards in the tableau over playing cards from the deck, as this gives you more options and brings you closer to winning.
- Don’t automatically move cards to the foundation piles if they might be needed to hold other cards in the tableau.
