Snow Board Championship is an isometric arcade snowboarding game developed by Gaelco in 1996. Designed in the same fast-paced style as Gaelco’s popular World Rally series, the game challenges you to react quickly to sharp turns and oncoming obstacles as your snowboarder speeds downhill. You can choose from three international riders and tackle both Beginner and Championship modes, taking on fast qualifying races and technical slalom courses.
How to Play
Your character moves downhill automatically, making your main objective to steer through the gates and reach the finish line before time runs out. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start. Use the Arrow Keys to steer your rider left and right. When you hit an obstacle or lose momentum, press Z or X to use your dedicated speed-up action and quickly get back into the race.
Tips
- Pay close attention to the large directional arrows that flash on-screen; they give you a split-second warning to prepare for sharp turns that you can’t see yet.
- Don’t forget to use your speed buttonโit is absolutely essential for recovering lost time after a crash or navigating uphill sections.
