🎮 Play Sky Alert Online (Arcade)

Sky Alert is a vertically scrolling shoot ’em up released for the arcade by Metro Corporation in 1992. You pilot one of two heavily armed fighter planes, blasting your way through relentless waves of enemy aircraft and ground forces. It features cooperative two-player gameplay and distinct weapon loadouts for each ship type, making it a fast-paced and challenging entry in the classic arcade shooter genre.

How to Play

Your objective is to survive each stage by destroying enemy forces and defeating the end-level bosses. You can choose between two aircraft: Type A features a focused laser and homing rockets, while Type B offers a wider spread vulcan cannon and missiles. In the browser, use the Arrow Keys to move your ship. Press Shift or 5 to insert coins, and Enter or 1 to start. Use Z to fire your primary weapons and X to unleash a devastating bomb attack when overwhelmed.

Tips

• Choose Your Ship Wisely: Type A is excellent for dealing heavy, concentrated damage to bosses, while Type B is better suited for clearing out large waves of weaker enemies.
• Save Your Bombs: Bomb attacks not only deal massive screen-wide damage but also grant temporary invincibility. Save them for emergency situations or when boss patterns become too difficult to dodge.
