Saulabi Spirits / Jin Saulabi Tu Hon is the Korean arcade release of SNK’s Samurai Shodown II, a 1994 weapon-based fighting game for Neo Geo hardware. The Korean distributor, Big-A, swapped in new Korean-language title graphics, but the game underneath is unchanged: a fifteen-character sequel to the original Samurai Shodown that introduces the rival swordsman Genjuro Kibagami as its new central antagonist, alongside four other newcomers.

How to Play

Standard arcade controls apply: arrow keys to move, jump, and crouch, with four attack buttons mapped to Z, X, C, and V (Light Slash, Medium Slash, Heavy Slash, and Kick). Enter starts the match and Shift inserts a coin. Hold back to block. As in the rest of the series, landing a solid hit at the right moment can knock the weapon clean out of an opponent’s hands — a disarmed fighter hits faster but weaker, so retrieving a dropped weapon quickly matters.

Tips

• Bait the Rage Gauge: taking hits without retaliating fills your Rage Gauge; once full, your character enters a short powered-up state with faster, unblockable Rage attacks.
• New roster additions: Genjuro Kibagami, Cham-Cham, Neinhalt Sieger, and Nicotine Caffeine all debut here, plus the hidden, unlockable Kuroko.
• Because this release is the same ROM as Samurai Shodown II under a different title screen, any move list or strategy written for that game applies directly here.
