Rompers Japan New Version Rev B is an arcade maze game released by Namco in 1989. You play as Chap, a gardener navigating labyrinthine stages to rescue his girlfriend. Instead of shooting, you must use the environment to your advantage by pushing maze walls over to crush the monsters pursuing you.

How to play

Navigate the maze using the joystick (arrow keys) and press the action button (Z or X) to push walls onto enemies. To complete a stage, you must collect every key scattered around the garden to unlock the exit. Insert coins with Shift and start the game with Enter.

Tips

Pushed walls will eventually stand back up, meaning you cannot permanently block paths. Timing your wall pushes carefully allows you to crush multiple enemies at once for bonus points.
