Roll-chan World 2 is a fan-made ROM hack for the Game Boy that modifies the classic action-platformer Mega Man II (known in Japan as Rockman World 2). The hack replaces the traditional protagonist with Roll, Mega Man’s robotic sister, putting her on the front lines as she jumps and shoots her way through challenging stages to defeat a new lineup of Robot Masters.

How to Play

The goal is to navigate side-scrolling levels, overcome hazards, and defeat bosses to acquire their unique weapons. The Game Boy controls are mapped directly to your keyboard for the browser: use the arrow keys (D-pad) to move and climb ladders, Z (A button) to jump, and X (B button) to shoot. Press Enter (Start) to pause and access the weapon selection screen.

Tips

Like the original game, every Robot Master is weak to a specific weapon you earn from defeating another boss. If you are struggling with a particular stage or boss, try exploring a different level first to acquire an advantage.
