Game description:

Rockman X3 (released as Mega Man X3 in the West) is a fast-paced action-platformer developed by Capcom and released for the SNES in 1996. The game follows Maverick Hunters X and Zero as they fight to protect humanity from a new robotic uprising led by the once-peaceful scientist, Dr. Doppler.

How to Play

Your objective is to defeat eight Maverick bosses across different stages, claiming their unique weapons to exploit the weaknesses of other enemies. In your browser, the standard SNES controls map to the arrow keys for movement, Z to jump, and X to shoot or charge your buster. Press Enter to pause or start. For the first time in the series, you can also call in Zero to fight during specific parts of the stages.

Tips

  • Use Zero carefully: Zero deals massive damage with his Z-Saber, but if his health is depleted, he will be permanently unavailable for the rest of the game.
  • Collect Ride Armors: Look for hidden Ride Armor modules throughout the levels. You must locate the core Chimera Armor before you can pilot the Frog, Kangaroo, or Hawk variants.
  • Dash Jump: Press jump while dashing (or double-tapping a direction) to cover much greater horizontal distances and evade boss attacks.
