Real Bout Fatal Fury is a 1995 fighting game developed by SNK for Arcade systems. As the fifth installment in the Fatal Fury series, it introduces a revised control scheme and a new Power Gauge system, delivering fast-paced, competitive 2D fighting action.
Players compete in one-on-one martial arts battles to deplete their opponent’s health bar. The game simplifies the series’ controls to a three-button attack layout (Punch, Kick, and Strong Attack) alongside a dedicated button for switching between the foreground and background planes. Arcade inputs generally map to arrow keys for movement, with action buttons mapped to Z, X, C, and A in the browser.
Utilize the plane-switching mechanic to dodge projectile attacks and counter-attack from a safe distance. Pay attention to the Ring Out system, as breaking the barriers at the edges of the stage allows you to instantly win a round by knocking your opponent out of bounds.
